He was the beloved brother of Sally McKnight Jordan. He was the cherished grandfather of 3 grandchildren. He was the loving husband of Kay Miller Ford, dear father of Heather Ford George and dear father-in-law of Joseph Scott George as well as Allison Miller Klotzbuecher, and the late Jeffrey Frazer Ford. Friends and family described him as charismatic, thoughtful, and generous. Bob graduated from ballroom dancing in 1990, and then he went on to be an avid cheerleader for his wife's dancing. Bob was a devoted pet owner to Bella and Gigi. Bob scored his first hole-in-one on August 3, 2016. He never missed a U of M football game in person, via radio or on television. He loved U of M football, golf, animals and travel. Bob retired after many decades of service. He then worked with March Insurance, serving as Vice President of commercial lines. Bob worked with Travelers Insurance Company as a manager in commercial lines. During his time there, he was president of his fraternity, Alpha Delta Phi, and then graduated in 1958. He pursued a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Michigan, studying history. He then attended Kiski Prepatory School in Pennsylvania, where he played football as well. Bob graduated from Jackson High School in Jackson, MI playing the drums and football. Born Octoin Jackson, MI passed away Apat the age of 86 in Bloomfield Hills, MI. Loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
